We today of all days the day right
before out court and we are on our way to see “H” and were about half way there
and the train crossing between here and there was being worked on and they were
not letting traffic through so we had to turn around and come back. We called our facilitator who was able to
notify the facility where “H” is and let them know so they could tell “H” why
we did not come do today. Our hearts are
truly saddened by this but our spirit are not going to be dampened by this event. Tomorrow I plan to stand still and see the
Salvation of the LORD do his mighty work in our case. Tomorrow is our court date, and this area
normally does two sessions and our facilitator is pretty sure he can get the
judge to agree to do both sessions tomorrow.
We ask you all too please pray for us tomorrow that we can get both
sessions completed so the countdown can begin.
The scripture I quoted above is
from Exodus chapter 14 and it is a very powerful example of how God takes care
of his children. In verse 13 Moses is
telling the people to “Fear ye not, stand still, and see the salvation of the
Lord, which he will shew to you today:” (Exodus 14:13a, KJV), “The Lord shall
fight for you, and ye shall hold your peace” (Exodus 14:14 KJV). Can you imagine what it was like for the
children of Israel that day standing there watching as GOD parted the waters of
the Red Sea giving them a passage through.
Not only that but he put up a pillar a fire between the Egyptian Army
and the Children of Israel. He caused
the side of the Egyptians to be total darkness and gave the children of Israel
light to see by. That is just how good
the GOD we serve is, giving us light to see through His Son Jesus Christ who is
the light of the world. So the next time
you are up against a battle remember to stand still and let the Light of God
shine and light your path through Jesus Christ.
